1. Services Overview

Green Mountain Advisers provides financial advisory, fractional CFO, and strategic consulting services to owner-operated businesses. The specific scope, deliverables, and terms of any advisory engagement will be governed by a separate engagement agreement between Green Mountain Advisers and the client.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and capable of forming a binding contract to use our Site and services. By using the Site, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

3. Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Site in any way that violates applicable federal, state, local, or international law
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, server, or any connected system
• Use any robot, spider, scraper, or other automated means to access the Site without our written permission
• Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful material to the Site

4. Assessment and Discovery Calls

Completing the online assessment or booking a discovery call does not create a client relationship or advisory engagement. An engagement begins only upon execution of a written engagement agreement signed by both parties.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, data compilations, and software, is the property of Green Mountain Advisers or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on the Site without our prior written consent.

6. Disclaimer of Financial Advice

Important: The information provided on the Site, including blog posts, case studies, and general descriptions of services, is for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, tax, legal, or investment advice. The content on this Site should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional advice tailored to your specific business circumstances. 7. Client Confidentiality

Green Mountain Advisers takes client confidentiality seriously. Any financial information, business data, or proprietary information shared during an engagement is treated as confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties except as required by law or as described in our Privacy Policy and engagement agreements.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Green Mountain Advisers, its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site or our services. Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Green Mountain Advisers in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to intellectual property provisions, disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Vermont, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, with proceedings held in Vermont.

12. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Acceptable Use Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Green Mountain Advisers regarding the use of the Site. These Terms do not alter the terms of any separate engagement agreement between you and Green Mountain Advisers.
